As a child, I always dreamed of competing in Holland’s Next Top Model, but for some reason, I never quite had the courage to apply. That changed last summer when my mom—my biggest fan and supporter—came across an Instagram story posted by Yolanda Hadid. She was scouting for the new season in Amsterdam, and something inside me said, “Why not?” So, I took a leap and went to the location where Yolanda would be. I approached her, and just a month and three castings later, I received the best news of the year: I would be competing on Holland’s Next Top Model.
From that moment, everything moved quickly. Filming began just a month later, and every three days, one contestant would be eliminated. I somehow managed to make it all the way to the final episode, where I was eliminated just before the finale, ending in 6th place.
Throughout this incredible journey, I had the opportunity to meet influential creatives, including renowned photographer Jim Jordan and top models Bella and Gigi Hadid. But the highlight, without a doubt, was meeting with Bradley Cooper—an experience I’ll never forget.
In addition to my time on the show, I’ve also dabbled in modeling outside of the program. But with my ambition and dreams, it’s essential to set priorities. For me, my TV series is always at the forefront. However, pursuing a modeling career is still a dream I hold dear.
